I have had long term issues with alcohol (no other drugs) and in very recent times I have advanced to the "top shelf" so to speak of the binge drinking curve. Total and complete abstinence is the ONLY answer. Add AA and you have a real chance of survival and that's what it is - survival. A great article and a pleasure to read.
